On my quest to teach my kids more about nutrition and expand their repertoire of food choices I started thumbing through my old cookbooks. I even bought a few new kid friendly cookbooks such as: Weelicious by Catherine McCord and The Mom 100 Cookbook by Katie Workman.
What I decided to do was let my kids thumb through the pictures to find a recipe or food picture that they would like to eat. Life got a little crazy with all sorts of situations but we are back to basics and plan on starting to review the cookbooks again. This time around we will pick at least 1 new recipe to try each week from the new cookbooks. We will keep you posted on which ones were a success!
